Christmas To-Do List: 1) Photograph Bergdorf Goodman Windows

Joseph Kellard December 20, 2014

There’s a reason I drive into Manhattan before each Christmas, and it’s not primarily to take photos at festive Rockefeller Center. First and foremost, I walk with my camera a few blocks north on Fifth Avenue to the always extravagant and artful window displays at Bergdorf Goodman department store. I find these exquisite arrangements with high-end fashions such a pleasure to behold, that I wrote about them in a blog titled “Bergdorf Goodman Christmas Windows Celebrate Art and Capitalism.” The designers took the theme of this season’s windows, the concept “Inspired,” to create windows that celebrates the arts: literature, theater, painting, music, dance, sculpture, film, and architecture. I think my photos capture them in all their glory.

Merry Christmas!
